Updated Facebook Fan Pages: How To Post As Both Your Page and Yourself

Facebook page administration isn't always clear, especially while they continue making regular modifications. One administrative privelage drawing a constant source of confusion is how to change the posting persona from organization to user or vice versa. In some cases, posting on your page as your organization isn't the best option; you might want to post as yourself.

Since the last time we posted about personas, Facebook has made switching easier. Here's how to do it:

1.  Go to your organization's page

See which persona you are currently using by checking the identity statement listed above "Admin Panel."

Organization navigation

If it says you are posting as you, all comments on your orgainzation's page will be your own.

2. To switch personas, click the "Change to _____" link.

Notice that the profile picture and identity statement have changed.

3. Additional option:  Click "Edit Page." There is an option to do the same thing.

Now your organization is able to have multiple administrators post a blog, link, picture etc. on the page and be able to give coworkers, teammates and partners kudos for their work.
