    Great stuff, just going to add another topic:

    * Discuss your business road map- the timing and the whys.

    I recently finished helping set up an internal blog, and your list works well from that perspective too.

    While my addition is similar to #7, I got enough feedback from possible readers of a "C" staff blog, that I wanted to reiterate it. Perhaps managers think everyone in the business knows where they are going and why, but it might not have reached everyone in the company. A blog with a well maintained comments section could do wonders.
